The annual Mathews Community Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 11 a.m. sharp Saturday on the county’s court green. This free event is open to children ages 3-10 years. Costumes are welcome.

The event will be held rain or shine. Children are invited to bring their baskets to collect the treats that are scattered on the green. The egg hunt is sponsored by the Tara M. Plotino Memorial Fund and the Mathews County Visitor and Information Center. Call 804-725-4229 for more information.
