Early signup for May Faire vendors ends April 1

Vendors of arts, crafts, food and community information are still being sought for May Faire, to be held Saturday, May 5, on Mathews Court Green. The early signup period ends April 1 and after that day, registration goes up by $10, said May Faire chair Nancy Twigg.

Local churches, community groups, businesses, authors, and artists and craftspeople in all media are invited to host a table.

The fee for arts and crafts vendors remains $35 until that date, Twigg said. The signup fee for community and youth groups is $25; museum organizations, $10; and food court vendors, $95.

May Faire is a project of the Mathews County Historical Museum, which was organized in 2014 and this year announced that the present Dilly Dally Emporium will become its permanent location in June.
