John T. Dusewicz recently joined the Gloucester law firm Foard & Dias, PC, as an associate.

President Richard M. “Dick” Foard of Gloucester said he is pleased to welcome Dusewicz to the staff. Julie Dias of Lynchburg, who was with the practice for 20 years, is retired from day-to-day operations but remains of counsel. Lending a hand is legal assistant Michelle L. Haskiell of Topping.

Dusewicz specializes in criminal law, Foard said, but Foard & Dias is a general practice firm and they offer many services. For example, Foard and Dusewicz will handle cases including real estate acquisitions, business formations, estate and trust matters.

Most recently, Dusewicz worked in the Commonwealth’s Attorney Office in Hampton and previously worked for the Commonwealth’s Attorney in Buchanan County in the southwestern part of the state.
