After a 7-0 loss to Woodside and a 4-3 fall to Denbigh, the Gloucester High School varsity baseball squad posted a 13-0 shutout of Heritage on March 24.

The Dukes’ defense was impeccable in the win. Offensively Gloucester got doubles from Jordan Harvey, Matt Contreras, Tristan Spears and Brett Lindsey.

With the schedule and practice schedule plagued by rain, the Dukes have frequently been found in the GHS gym working on perfecting their offense, which coach Gus Morande said is his number-one priority at this point. ...
