Gloucester High School varsity baseball players picked up two key Conference 10 wins this week, beating Kecoughtan, 9-1, on Monday and Warwick, 11-1, on Tuesday.

Senior Jason Wood got the win on the mound against the Warriors and contributed three hits and an RBI. Senior Grayson Womble also had three hits and scored three runs. 

Junior Cody Shiflett improved to 2-0 on the mound Tuesday with the win over the Raiders. Womble had three hits and two RBIs, Junior Reese Oden had a double and scored twice and senior Trey Fortner had two hits, two RBIs and scored two runs. 

The Dukes are 4-1 in Conference 10 play with one game remaining before the conference tourney next week. They host Menchville today at 4:30 p.m.  ...
