Gloucester High School football fans who want to get their first look at new head coach Brandon Kelley’s Dukes will have the opportunity on Friday when Gloucester hosts Poquoson in a scrimmage at GHS.
The junior varsity Dukes, led by assistant GHS coach Adam Miller, will take on the Poquoson jayvees at 4 p.m. while the varsity squads will scrimmage at 6 p.m. A second scrimmage is planned at Grafton High School on Aug. 22.
The varsity Dukes open the 2013 season at Phoebus on Aug. 29. The first home game will be with Norview on Friday, Sept. 6.
