Dorothy L. Wilson, 96, died on Thursday, April 23, 2026. She was a native of Gloucester County.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of Morning Glory Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Linwood and Robert Wilson; daughters, Patricia Wilson Lee and Cynthia Wilson; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter F. Wilson; sons, Walter E. and Rodney S. Wilson; daughters, Barbara Jackson and Doris Baker, and a granddaughter.

Viewing will be held on Friday, May 1, from 5-7 p.m. at Howard Funeral Home, Ark, and Saturday, May 2, from 10-11 a.m. at Morning Glory Baptist Church, Gloucester. A homegoing service will be held Saturday, May 2, at 11 a.m. at the church.
