Dorothy Howlett Sibley, 86, of Gloucester, passed away on Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 at her home.

She was born in Gloucester, and was the daughter of the late Arlie and Agnes Gunn Howlett. 

She was a member of Petsworth Baptist Church and retired after many years of service from Gulf Life Insurance Co.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Frasmer.

She is survived by her loving husband, Wildon V. Sibley; her daughter, Deborah S. Green and her husband Carey; sister, Mildred Bunting; son-in-law, Marven Frasmer; granddaughters, Cindy Johnson and her husband Scott, and Wendy Cotterman, and great-grandchildren, Brittany, Joey, Katie, and Matthew.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at 11 a.m. in Petsworth Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
