DORIS MAY RIGAU COVAIRT

Doris May Rigau Covairt, Aug. 28, 1928-Dec. 4, 2015, passed away at her Gloucester home.

She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Edna McCoy and the widow of Jamie Rigau and Don Covairt. She was the former owner of Dor-Don Collectibles in Gloucester until her retirement in 1995.

She is survived by her children, David Rigau (Sue), Nancy Barnette (Garry), Danny Rigau (Lee Ann), and Nita Carter (Charlie); her grandchildren, Garry Rigau Jr., Austin Barnette, Jamie Rigau, Amy Rigau, Jeremy Rigau, Michelle Carter, Jenelle Oliveri, and John Carter, and 12 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Doris will be held on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the American Legion Post on Route 17 adjacent to Mrs. Covairt’s residence of many years.

The Legacy of a Lovely Lady

She did not just live; she adorned the lives around her.  

Doris left a legacy of an extraordinary and robust life. 

She set the standard for her beloved family members (of all generations) to achieve high standards, and be a guiding light to those who follow behind her.  

God love her and keep her in the rich rewards of heaven!
