A graveside service for Doris M. Gibson, 72, of Hayes, was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at Gloucester Point Cemetery. She died Nov. 27, 2013.

 

She worked for many years as a hairstylist, and was a member of Union Baptist Church. 

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Gibson Sr.; daughter, Theresa Dale Gibson; parents, Bonnie and Sallie Cox, and grandson.

 

Survivors include two sons, Richard Gibson Jr. and Jeffery Gibson; sisters, Betty Holden, Mary Hartman and Cindy Long; brother, Jonathan Wayne Cox; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

 

The service was conducted by the Rev. Richard Whiteheart. 

 

Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point, was in charge.
