Doris Lillian Wienecke McKim, 92, of Gloucester, passed away Jan. 31, 2017, at Walter Reed Convalescent Center.
She was born Jan. 14, 1925 to the late John and Elise Wienecke in Baltimore, Maryland. Doris was very creative in her quilting and sewing. Her kindness and warm heart will be missed by many; she was a blessing to all that knew her.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Irving McKim; son, Keith McKim; brother, John, and sister, Elise.
She is survived by her children, Jean King, Roger McKim (Diana) and Debra Lee Birrane (Brian); eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a sister, Roberta Bloom.
Funeral service conducted by the Rev. Katie Penick was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, in the chapel at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5598 Trumps Mill Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21206.
