Dora Alice Butler Haigler, age 85, of Wake, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 25, 2018.

Dora was a lifelong resident of Middlesex County who loved the Lord, her family, and animals.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Edna Butler; her husband, Paul Haigler, and a great-granddaughter, Anabella Rae Bryan.

Survivors include a son, Joe Haigler (Diane); daughters, Doreen Pass (Eric) and Paula Chandler (Bubba); 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Dora’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, 15 C.F. Edwards Lane, Saluda, Va. 23149. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 1 o’clock. Burial will follow in Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Topping, Va.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Aicardi Syndrome Foundation at P.O. Box 3202, St. Charles, Illinois 60174 in Mrs. Haigler’s name, in memory of her great-granddaughter, Anabella Rae Bryan.
