DONNIE JAMES ‘JAMIE’ ATWOOD

It is with great sadness we announce the death of our beloved son and brother, Donnie James “Jamie” Atwood of Gloucester, on Feb. 26, 2016.

Born Dec. 31, 1974, he experienced many periods of great success and is remembered as being a kind, hard-working, artistic, and generous young man. Jamie loved and excelled at baseball as a child. He was a true self-taught chef who was happiest when he was cooking. He will be remembered and missed by all who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donnie James Atwood; paternal grandparents, George and Rose Atwood; maternal grandparents, L.G. and Betty D. Hamilton; uncle, Raymond M. Hamilton, and cousin, Allison Hamilton.

He is survived by his three children, Nathan, Skyy, and Angel Atwood of Gloucester; his parents, Gus and Kaye H. Panos of Gloucester; three brothers, Brian Atwood, Bobby Panos, and Ray Panos of Gloucester; two sisters, Niki Panos Sawyer and her husband Steven of Henrico and Melissa Argue of Mississippi; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who shared many loving memories of him. 

Services were private.
