The American Legion Auxiliary Unit #75 of Gloucester is accepting donations to help send Gloucester High School delegates to the 2021 ALA Girls State to be held in June at Longwood University.

It is estimated to cost $375 per delegate to send a girl to Girls State, a summer leadership and citizenship program for high school juniors. It teaches young women about the democratic process and how the republic form of government works at the state and national levels.

Make a donation by a check payable to ALA Girls State Fund and mail to American Legion Auxiliary Unit #75, 5849 American Legion Way, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
