Donald Wayne Parker, 53, of Gloucester, died suddenly Aug. 11, 2017.

Donnie was self-employed in the home and industrial building trade. He was a happy-go-lucky free-spirited guy who loved to laugh and enjoyed life. Donnie left us much too soon, but he will always be watching over his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Chandler.

Donnie is survived by his children, Tamra Foley (Richard), Darren Coff, Brittany Parker and Hailey Burke; father, Ray Parker Sr.; stepfather, Eddie G. Chandler; brother, Ray Parker Jr. (Penny); sisters, Sherry Smith (Andy) and Wendy Bennet; six grandchildren, and his best friend, 120-pound dog, named Rebel.

A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Bill West was at noon Monday, Aug. 14, 2017, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment followed in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family greeted friends prior to the service on Monday from 11 a.m.-noon at the funeral home.
