DONALD TROY DURHAM

Donald Troy Durham, 46, of Gloucester, died Oct. 29, 2012 at MCV Hospital as the result of an automobile accident.

Troy’s motto in life was family first, followed by fun with friends and always ready to lend a helping hand. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan, taught his daughter to hunt and enjoyed hunting with his pride and joy, Montanna. He was an avid Harley rider with his family.

Troy’s laughter and jokes would always give his friends a good laugh. The true testament to Troy was the warmth and love which he inspired in the hearts of the many fortunate enough to have known him during his life. He will be missed so much by so many.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Durham; daughter, Montanna Durham; mother, Sandra Hudgins and friend Lyle Ward; father, Don Durham and wife Kathy; sisters, Courtney Durham Berg, Amber Durham Putt, Alda Barnett, Maria Healy, Kellie Kimrey, Kim Lamal, Tanya Childress; brother, Richard Fish; father and mother-in-law, Turnley and Betty Todd, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A gathering of friends will be held on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, from 2-3:30 p.m. at Newington Baptist Church. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

In Troy’s memory, contributions may be given to Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 1417, Gloucester, Va. 23061.

Arrangements by Hogg Funeral Home and Crematory, Gloucester Point.
