Donald J. Howard of North, born in Brooklyn, New York, on Jan. 19, 1931, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 24, 2018. He was predeceased by his parents and brother.

After a stint in the U.S. Navy, Don moved to Manhattan and worked for Ann Morris Antiques before opening his own antique shop, Tangerine. He moved the shop to West Hampton Beach and was there for 20 years, retiring to Mathews County in 1997, where he kept his hands in antiques at local malls and was active in the Court House Players.

Don loved his dogs and his house, Linden Hall, and he loved being in Mathews.
