Dominion accepting grant applications from nonprofits

The Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation is accepting grant applications from nonprofit and educational organizations.
Grants will be awarded to support programs and specific projects that focus on human needs, environmental stewardship, education, and community vitality, said a press release. Last year, the foundation gave more than $46 million to support charitable causes in its service areas.
Applications will be accepted twice this year, once in the spring and once in the fall. The spring grant application period closes at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2.
