Earlier this month, the Abingdon Ruritan Club made a donation to the DeGood Foundation which is a nonprofit organization located in Newport News. The club’s community engagement chair Regina Scott is shown here presenting a $2,453.33 check to Kyle DeGood for the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The library is dedicated to inspire a love of reading by giving books free of charge to children from birth to age five.
