Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism is offering classes in Dog Training and Puppy Training, beginning next month.

Puppy Training will be held on Wednesdays from April 17 through May 22 at Beaverdam Park’s Whitcomb Lodge. Large-breed puppies (over 40 pounds) is from 4-5 p.m. and small-breed puppies (under 40 pounds) is from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The classes are taught by Aubrey West. The fee is $169 and the deadline to register is April 10 or when class fills.

Dog Training (for dogs 1 year and older, who have had a previous class with West) will meet from 4-5 p.m. Mondays from April 15 to May 20. The fee is $169 and the deadline to register is April 8 or when class is full.
