There’s no doubt that your cute cuddly calico or loyal little Lhasa Apso is the star of your home. So why shouldn’t your pet also be the star of this newspaper?

On Sept. 4, the Gazette-Journal will run a special section devoted to pets. We plan to feature photos that readers have submitted of their dogs, cats and other furry or feathered companions.

All you have to do is send a digital photo (along with the pet’s name, your name, where you live and a little bit about what makes your pet so unique) to editor@gazettejournal.net no later than noon on Thursday, Aug. 28. ...
