Terrance Dixon received second place in the Multimedia/Online Journalism category in the Virginias Associated Press Broadcasters’ Awards Luncheon, held on April 6 at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
Dixon, a 2010 Mathews High School graduate, received the award for his work at WWBT, the NBC affiliate in Richmond. The Virginias AP Broadcasters group is made up of radio and television AP members from throughout Virginia and West Virginia.

Dixon, who holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University, was previously nominated for an Emmy award.
