Terrance Dixon has been nominated for a regional Emmy award for his work as a videographer with NBC 12 in Richmond.
Dixon and reporter Brent Solomon were nominated for their work on a story involving Short Pump Middle School engaging in racially insensitive behavior that was posted on social media.
In all, NBC 12 received 14 nominations; the station itself was nominated for Overall Station Excellence. The 60th Emmy Awards Gala will be held on June 23 in North Bethesda, Maryland.
