Dixon Gowan Travis Brown of Toano, passed peacefully on Nov. 6, 2011 at the age of 65.

Dixon loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He also had a great love for Disney World and his Doberman Pinschers, and he could never pass up a good joke. He retired from Anheuser-Busch Brewery after 29 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Gay M. Brown; children, Wendy B. Turner and her husband Leroy, Jenny Sutherland and her husband Aaron, Chip Gause, Patricia Daube and her husband Jeff, and three grandchildren.
