Distinctive Bazaar at Irvington UMC Saturday

Irvington United Methodist Church will open the doors of its educational building on Saturday for the annual Distinctive Bazaar, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Now in its 23rd year, the bazaar has become a traditional event in the Northern Neck area, with shoppers buying gifts for family and friends, while supporting the mission of the church.

The church gives a tithe to the LINK from the proceeds, gives one senior from Lancaster High School a $1,000 scholarship, and uses the remaining proceeds to pay for the new HVAC system the church needs.

Tables have been set up containing a number of unique, one-of-a-kind objects for sale, including a number of handmade items. Covid protocols are still in place and no lunch will be served this time. The church is located at 26 King Carter Drive in the Lancaster County community.
