The Mathews High School volleyball team held its annual Dig Pink game on Oct. 7 against the visiting West Point Pointers. The varsity Devils donned special pink jerseys for the game, inviting cancer survivors to join the players on the court for the National Anthem, above. The event was held to raise cancer awareness and funds to support cancer charities, with a special Dig Pink bake sale. Below, they raise a cheer.
