Devils fall to Cavs, 76-65

The Mathews High School varsity basketball team fell to the visiting King William Cavaliers on Tuesday, 76-65.Freshman Tremane Greene led the team in scoring with 20 points, followed by freshman Ryan Bacelar with 15 points, junior Tae Legette with 11 points, junior Thomas Hubbard with seven points, senior Colin Frazer with five points, and senior Daveon Johnson and sophomore Andrew Greve with two points each.
The varsity Devils were scheduled to host Middlesex in the final regular season game. The regional tournament begins next week.
