Motorists traveling northbound on Main Street, Gloucester, will be required to follow a detour tomorrow night (Tuesday) beginning at 9 p.m. and continuing through 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.

According to Sean Trapani, VDOT’s residency administrator, the Hampton Roads Sanitation District will be correcting some work that had been done previously at the intersection of Main Street and Route 14.

VDOT has placed message boards at three locations near the intersection alerting motorists of the closure.
