First place Saturday in the Mathews Micro-Tri went to Christopher Desteli, left, while Helen Morris, right, led among female participants.

Christopher Desteli took first place Saturday in the third 2020 Micro-Tri held at Williams Wharf in Mathews. Winning time for the 35-year-old was 39:44.4 in a race that included swim, run and bicycle portions.

Second place went to Joel Isely, and third to Victor Karstendiek.

Helen Morris was the top female winner, completing the course in 45:59.6.
