Dennis Henry Jamerson Sr., 73, of Gloucester, Va., passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Cumberland County, Va., to the late Seymour and Avis Dennis Jamerson. He was the owner of Jamerson Heating and Air since 1984.
  He is survived by his wife, Alcie Olge  Jamerson; his children, Dennis Henry Jamerson Jr. of Plain View, Deborah Marie Rhodes, Ronald W. Jamerson, both of Gloucester; and Pamela D. Locke of Ohio; his siblings, Seymour Jamerson Jr., Bessie Newman, Peggy Timberlake, all of Cumberland, and Billie Jamerson of Gloucester; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 11, 2013, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bellamy Memorial Cemetery.

Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, was in charge of arrangements.
