The Gloucester County Democratic Committee will host petition signings next week for a candidate for Virginia’s 68th House of Delegates’ district seat currently held by Republican Keith Hodges.
GCDC chair Pam Garner said that the petition signings to add candidate Elaine Walters to the November ballot will be held on Wednesday, March 12, at Gloucester Library, Main Street Center, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. and the Point branch from 3-5 p.m.
Walters will be in attendance at the Gloucester County Democratic Committee meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 17 at Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue Station 3, 2676 Hayes Road, Hayes. The meeting will also include a virtual attendance by Alex Bastani, a candidate for lieutenant governor.
