Deltaville museum to host A Taste of Middlesex Festival

A Taste of Middlesex Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park, 287 Jackson Creek Road, Deltaville. It is free and open to the public; parking will be $5 per vehicle.

There will be all-day live music by David Moran, Riptide, and the Ray Pittman Revival, along with food of all types, craft beer, and a wine tasting. In addition, the sloop Luna and the Colonial Seaport Foundation will be docked on site, and there will be free deadrise creek cruises and tours of the F.D. Crockett and the boat shop. Model trains from the Rappahannock Railroaders will be on hand, along with children’s games and activities.

Local restaurants and caterers have been invited to “put their best dish forward,” said a press release.

Car show
