The Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park’s opening day concert, Elana Lisa and the Hot Mess, has been postponed. Originally scheduled for May 2, the concert will be held the first Saturday that is mutually available to the venue and the band after restrictions on public gatherings in Virginia have been lifted.

Season discount offers have been extended until the first concert of the season, said a press release. With the postponement of opening day, the first concert is currently scheduled for Memorial Day, Saturday, May 23, at 5 p.m. It will feature Ray Pittman and blues guitarist Bobby Messano.

The museum will remain closed until June 10 under current government restrictions, but the park is open for walking, jogging, exercising, and hiking while adhering to social distancing and group limit protocols. The bathrooms are closed, but a porta-john is available.
