Deltaville Lights returns for 17th year

The mega Deltaville Lights Christmas display is back for its 17th year with 163,000 lights, including a 36,000 bulb light show synchronized to music.

There are 67 “pole trees” in the forest of lights. Most are between 8 and 15 feet tall but two rise 22 feet. The light show’s center piece tree is 22 feet tall with almost 12,000 lights.

The interactive Walk-In Tree is 20 feet tall and has over 6,000 lights that visitors can control from inside the tree.

The light maze is 1,600 square feet with nearly 2,500 lights.

Scenes include the Dog Village, Fred Bear’s Tree Lot, a boat fishing in a pond of lights, Snowman Circle, Gingerbread Village, North Pole, Island of Misfit Toys, and more. Visitors can watch and listen the light show and music in their car by tuning to FM 100.9 when within sight of the display.

The lights are on from 5-11 o’clock every night through New Year’s Day, weather permitting. Rain closures are announced on Facebook.com/DeltavilleLights.
