The Deltaville Deltas powered past the Heathsville Hurricanes, 16-0, Sunday, after playing to a disappointing 7-7 tie against likewise undefeated Richmond Team Woody on Saturday.
The Deltas improved to 10-0-1 on the season, with an 8-0-1 league mark, and maintain a solid grip on first place in the Richmond NABA eastern division standings. Team Woody defeated the Richmond Braves by the score of 15-0 on Sunday, and hold a 7-0-1 league record and 1½ game lead on defending league champion Richmond El Heaters in the western division.
On Saturday night, the El Heaters (5-1) will be coming to Deltaville Ballpark for a showdown with the Deltas. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30.
