Deltas put up 14 runs twice in back-to-back wins

The Deltaville Deltas exploded in a pair of victories last weekend, twice putting up 14 runs against the VBA 61’s. Deltaville defeated the 61’s by scores of 14-4 and 14-1, improving its record to 11-5 in league play; 12-6 overall.

This weekend, Deltaville hosts the Hampton Braves on Friday starting at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, the Southern Virginia Baseball League All Star Game and Home Run Derby will be held in Deltaville. The league’s top sluggers will swing for the fences at 4 p.m., with the All-Stars facing off at 7.

Deltaville 14, 61’s 4

Travis Crump blasted a pair of home runs, including a sixth inning grand slam, as the Deltas beat the 61’s, 14-4 on Saturday.
