DeLSol offers day support and crisis stabilization programs

Owners April and Jasen DeLandro recently held a grand opening for the couple’s nonprofit organization, DeLSol Association, Inc., located on Gloucester’s Main Street.

The organization helps those with developmental disabilities and chronic mental health needs. DeLSol Association, Inc., is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is referral based only. The program’s day support services are headed by Shamba Wilson.

The DeLandros currently own two locations. One is located in Hampton and their new location Gloucester. Their locations provide home and community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities, which is at no cost to them as long as they meet certain criteria. The specific services that they offer are day support and community-based crisis stabilization. This summer, they will also be opening a new group home in Hampton and they hope to open one in Gloucester in the future.
