Delores (Lois Ann) Armistead, 67, of Cobbs Creek, passed away on Sept. 17, 2017.

She was a devoted wife, loving and wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Shields; father, Melvin Armistead; sister, Virginia (Ginny) Clark, and brothers, Richard and Jamie Armistead.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ralph Armistead; sons, Jeffrey Armistead and Brian Armistead, and her daughter, Sheila Armistead Pierson; three grandchildren, Glenna Armistead Smith (Derrick), Nikki Pierson Owens (Dustin) and B.J. Pierson; great-grandson, Levi Smith and (unborn) Baby Owens; sister, Nancy Forrest, and nieces, nephews and other close friends.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, at Faulkner Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, followed by a funeral service at 11 o’clock in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at H.C. Smither Cemetery, Hudgins.
