Dedicated volunteerism

Curtis Evans of Gloucester was presented a Certificate of Appreciation for his dedicated volunteerism at the Helping the Homeless Thrift Store, this past Tuesday. According to Pastor Wendy Roundy, president of Helping the Homeless, Evans has autism and has been gaining work experience by volunteering at the thrift store since it opened in July. He recently accepted a position at Walmart. Staff and volunteers at the thrift store celebrated Evans and all his accomplishments, as well as his 19th birthday.
