Dean Hillis Cooper, 84, of Gloucester, died on Saturday, June 23, 2012. He has now joined his beloved wife Hazel to spend eternity together in Heaven.
Dean was born in North Carolina to the late Carlyle and Geneva Cooper. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a retired civil service Auto Parts Specialist. In the earlier years of his life. Dean and Hazel loved square dancing and camping. He also had a passion for gardening and feeding the birds and had numerous bird feeders all around his yard. His life was full of love and devotion to his family, and they will miss him.
He is survived by his daughter, Reinette Cooper Springirth; grandsons, Scott, Mark and Brett Springirth, and sister, Elinor C. Pinegar.
Services for Dean will be private.
