Craft and food vendors planning to set up shop for this year’s Guinea Jubilee, as well as businesses and individuals interested in being sponsors for the annual celebration of all things Guinea, are encouraged to have their paperwork submitted by Monday to be included in the festival, which will be held on Sept. 25 and 26. Melissa Ashe, one of this year’s chairs, said that sponsor applications will likely be accepted after that date, but she hoped that most would arrive by the Monday deadline in order to guarantee a name on the sponsorship banner. Vendor spaces will be accepted after Monday’s date as space allows on the Jubilee grounds in Bena. People are also encouraged to sign up for the Guinea Jubilee 5K and Fun Run, which will be held on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 26. The cost for the 5K is $20, with a $10 cost to participate in the 1-mile Kids Crabby Fun Run.
