Friday is the deadline to register to take part in the Gloucester Citizen’s Christmas and Holiday Parade, which will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4, on Main Street. Forms are available online or may be picked up at the Gloucester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism.

In other news, the parks, recreation and tourism department is offering a one-stroke painting course for ages 12 and older from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 29, at T.C. Walker Elementary School. The fee is $40.
