Deadline approaches for local business grants

The deadline to apply for round two of Back to Business grants through the Middle Peninsula Planning District Commission is this Sunday, Aug. 30.

The grants are designed to provide immediate relief to businesses on the Middle Peninsula to allow them to remain open through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Participating businesses must certify that expenditures requested for reimbursement were expended to specifically address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Participating businesses must certify that any cost reimbursement request has not been paid for with any federal funds associated with COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, if the businesses have applied for and received federal aid, they must include information about the program and how that funding has been used.
