The Hampton Roads Educators Credit Union is offering five scholarships to students and faculty/staff within their field of membership for the 2020-2021 school year.
The deadline for scholarship applications is Feb. 19 at 5 p.m. Visit the credit union website (www.hrecu.org) for scholarship information or to access the applications at hrecu.org.
The following scholarships are available for high school seniors:The $1,000 Laura W. Twyford Memorial Scholarship for seniors who plan to pursue a degree and career in teaching.The $1,000 Career Development Scholarship for seniors who plan to pursue a degree, certification or license in any field other than teaching.
The $1,000 Naomi J. Chadwick Memorial Scholarship is “needs-based” for seniors who plan to pursue a degree in any field from an accredited four-year college or university.
