David M. Bloxom, 42, of Hayes, died unexpectedly June 5, 2015 at his home.

David was a considerate and thoughtful person who always put the needs of others before himself. He was a man of great character and a loving heart. David loved the water and being outdoors. He worked as a project manager at the Tile Company. He has left us but remains a part of our lives with a love that never fades.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis L. Bloxom.

He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Bloxom and fiancé Jim Martin; sister, Shelly Liaros and husband Ted; brother, Steve Stensland; granddaughter, Cheyenne “Chiggy” Emerson, and nephews, A.J. and Trevor. Additionally, he had many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends are welcomed to pay their respects Thursday, June 11, 2015, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
