David C. “Mike” Kelley, age 89, of Topping, went to be home with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015.

He was a retired pastor of Westville Baptist Church, Mathews, and a U.S. Army veteran. Mike was also a member of Claybrook Baptist Church, Weems.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Virginia Dunlevy Kelley, and a son, David R. Kelley of Madisonville, Texas.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Topping. Interment was in the church cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
