DARRELL ORA ANDREGG SR.

Darrell Ora Andregg Sr., 93, of Gloucester, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016.

He was a veteran of WWII and honorably served in both the Army Air Corps and the United States Air Force for 22 years prior to retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer grade W-2. Born in Redmond, Ore., he served in the Civilian Conservation Corps prior to joining the military. Post military retirement he worked in the field of electronics in various capacities ranging from operation, maintenance and design. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by Jacquelyn Yvonne Andregg his loving wife of 59 years; his siblings, Charles Paul Andregg and Margaret Ann Perry.

Surviving are his children, Darrell Jr. and wife Junette, residing in Gloucester, Donna Partridge and husband Michael residing in Mason, Ohio, and Theresa Adams and husband Gary, also residing in Gloucester. He was blessed with four grandchildren, Elizabeth Haubert, Katherine Partridge, Megan Partridge, and Michael Gatzke, and four great-grandchildren.

The family desires that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 1417, Gloucester, Va. 23061.

A memorial service with military honors is planned prior to interment at Windsor Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleum.
