The Cricket Hill chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, presented Mathews High School senior Suki Zheng its 2025 Good Citizen Award. Pictured left to right are Mathews High School principal Dr. Andrew Greve, DAR Regent Lynda Lancaster-Loyd, Zheng, DAR Good Citizen Award chairman Miriam Kleintop, and DAR member and Mathews County School Board chair Dr. Marianne Gibbs. Zheng received a $100 check for the Good Citizen Award and will receive the 2025 DAR scholarship of $1,000. She plans to attend the University of Virginia.
