Daniel Wayne Lilly, 24, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015.

He was born in Williamsburg and lived in Gloucester County. He was a member of Singleton United Methodist Church, Schley, and had a great love of music. 

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Cheryl and Scott Hargus of Appomattox; his father, Robert Lilly of Gloucester; sister, Christy Lilly of Roanoke; grandparents, Dave and Gloria Lilly of Gloucester, Bill and Joyce Hudgins of Dutton, and Clarence Hargus of Middlesex.

The family received friends at Singleton United Methodist Church on Monday, June 8, 2015 from 2-3 p.m., with funeral services at 3 o’clock. Burial was in the church cemetery.

The family was at the home of Dave and Gloria Lilly at other times.

Memorial donations may be made to either the Building Fund of Singleton United Methodist Church or to Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue.

Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory, Gloucester, was in charge of arrangements.
