Dale R. Robertson, 58, of Gloucester, won his battle with cancer and joined his loving wife in the arms of the Lord on Sept. 3, 2017.

Dale (“Shaggy”) was born on June 12, 1959 in Newport News, to Felder Robertson and Elisa M. Stallard who preceded him in death. Dale moved to Casper, Wyoming, and met his soul mate Gloria Bradshaw. They were married in 1979.

He worked for Williams Auto Repair, Newport News, Bowen Tools in Casper, E&F Wrecker Service of Casper, Cessna Aircraft in Winfield, Kansas, Seismograph Service Corp. in Casper, Treco Products Inc. in Newport News, Diamond Vogel Paints in Casper, and served for 24 years with Canon Virginia Inc. in Newport News.

Dale enjoyed hunting and fishing, riding his Harley, and spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his daughter, Fa Leasha Johnson; son-in-law, Matthew Johnson and their children, Gabriel and Joseph of Gloucester; his brothers, Timothy and Kenneth Robertson of Conway, South Carolina; his sisters, Rita Summers and Nancy Starcher of Hampton; his stepmother, Bobbie Robertson-Wilson of Blackville, South Carolina, and special extended family, Mark and Sara Clark of Lexington, Tennessee.
